FAQ

WHERE IS THE EVENT?

The historic Hollywood American Legion Post 43. 2035 N. Highland Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90068. hollywoodpost43.org

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW DO I GET in?

Admission cost $30 and MUST be purchased at the door on the day of the event. EVERYONE entering the building on July 31, 2022 will be checked at the door. Sorry, no exceptions. This is a limited capacity venue and everyone needs to respect the rules. Please plan in advance. Arrive early to guarantee admission. Doors open at 10AM.

where do i park?

There is a parking lot on-site behind the building, but it has very limited capacity. Spaces will only be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. Enter through the driveway to the left of the building. Once all the spaces are full, ample additional parking can be found at Hollywood and Highland for a fee. Typically the day rate is $18 (this could be different and is out of our control). Please be prepared to pay for parking. It is an approximate 8 minute walk from Hollywood & Highland to The American Legion Post 43.

what is the closest/most convenient airport?

The closest airport is Hollywood Burbank, which is approximately a 20 minute drive from/to the Hollywood American Legion Post 43. However, it is generally more expensive than LAX, which is much larger, but approximately an hour drive.

This particular line connects North Hollywood, Universal/Studio City, Hollywood/Vine, Hollywood/Western, Vermont/Sunset, Vermont/Santa Monica, Vermont/Beverly, Wilshire/Vermont. Regular fare is $1.75 per 2 hour ride in one direction. Incidentally, it is possible to connect via public transportation all the way to Santa Monica, Long Beach and across the valley.

Additional bass gear is provided by Jonpaul Balak.

Some might, but we cannot guarantee that they all will. If you intend to purchase items, it might be a good idea to bring cash as a failsafe.
